Purpose: This module helps SME leaders design proportionate governance that supports growth without unnecessary bureaucracy. Learners examine advisory boards, founder decision-making, delegated authority, simple controls, board reporting, risk routines and investor-readiness evidence. The module is practical and suitable for growing organisations that need structure, clarity and accountability.
Evidence requirements: Learners produce an SME governance diagnostic, a prioritised improvement plan and short supporting notes showing how proposed changes fit the organisation’s size and risk profile.
