Albion Awards is being developed as a specialist awarding organisation focused on professional qualifications in board governance, risk, assurance, cyber governance, non-executive director practice and organisational resilience.
Our purpose is to create practical, credible and evidence-led qualifications that help learners, centres, employers and professional communities build stronger governance, better oversight, improved accountability and more resilient organisations.
Albion Awards is currently preparing for Ofqual recognition. The qualifications, platform records, policies and demonstration materials shown on this website are provided for development, demonstration and recognition-readiness purposes. Albion Awards is not yet recognised by Ofqual and does not currently offer Ofqual-regulated qualifications.

Non-Executive Director Practice

Our Approach
Albion Awards is being built around a controlled awarding-body lifecycle.
01. Design
We develop qualifications through a structured design process using clear qualification purposes, learning outcomes, assessment criteria, level expectations and assessment requirements.
02. Approve
Qualifications, assessments and centres are reviewed before approval to ensure that they are suitable, credible, controlled and aligned with Albion Awards’ standards.
03. Assure
Assessment and delivery are supported through internal quality assurance, external quality assurance, standardisation, centre monitoring, sampling, action planning and review.
04. Certify
Certification is controlled through learner registration, assessment confirmation, centre checks, approval workflows, certificate records and public certificate verification.

Albion Awards is developing a digital platform to support the full awarding-body operating model.
